Why is a prior appointment mandatory?

Who can perform my New Zealand immigration medical?

Medical examinations must be completed by approved panel physicians whenever available in your country.

What documents should I bring?

Original passport or identity document, glasses/contact lenses if used, current medications, and relevant medical reports.

How long does the medical process take?

The duration varies depending on required tests such as blood tests, urine tests, physical examination, and chest X-ray. Additional tests may extend the process.

Can I attend the examination during my periods?

No. Applicants should wait until menstruation has finished because blood can affect urine test results.

What tests are included in the medical examination?

The examination may include medical history, physical examination, urine and blood tests, and a chest X-ray if required.

How will I know my results?

You may request a copy of your results from the clinic, and results are generally submitted electronically through eMedical.
